I stumble through taking one step with one foot, and then doing it again with the other foot. I don't know how many steps there were, but it seemed to be a lot. “Keep your eyes closed!” Traci laughs as she leads me up to the Astronomy Tower. “It's kind of hard to when stairs are involved! If I fall, it'll be all your fault.” I laugh along with her. “Just keep them closed. If it helps, follow my voice!” Yeah, like that will help.

The last few weeks has been a complete blur of events. Ace and I are official; no more being a single pringle! I hadn't noticed until some first years started gossiping when I walked by, but the entire school seems to know about us. Traci “swears” she didn't start the rumor, but I have a hunch that Traci couldn't keep it in any longer and spilled the beans to some first years, whom eventually told the entire school. Cordelia was put on house arrest for her reckless act of her self-obsession with being youthful and pretty. When Ace heard about it, he seemed furious at first, since she got off with only a warning. But now, he seems to think that it was a reasonable punishment after all.

“Okay, now open them!” Finally, we land at the top of the stairs. I open my eyes and I gasp in awe. How did he do this without me knowing about it? In front of me, a small picnic blanket with a basket is laid out. Ace is standing there with a single rose in hand. “If you need me, which I doubt you will, I'll be on the lookout for teachers!” Traci skips away before I can say a thank you. Ace extends his hand towards me and I take it. In the last few weeks, my feelings for Ace have gotten stronger, and clearly his feelings towards me are mutual. He leads me to the rail and we look out to see the sun set for the day. He turns towards me and takes a moment to find the words he obviously spent time on rehearsing.

“Anastasia, I've never felt this way with anyone before. Before I met you, I was always obsessing over myself, like my mother. I thought that my mother's ways were the right ways. I was wrong. Now that I have you by my side, I don't need to be anyone else except myself.” My heart melts at that. “Ace, even though her ways were wrong, Cordelia just wanted what's best for you. She was too caught up in herself to notice what she had. Oh, I almost forgot,” I take out a ruby red ring and I place it in Ace's hand. “I believe this belongs to you.” Ace stares at the ring for a moment and then throws it over the ledge, not caring about it. “I know who I belong to; you, Anastasia.” This must be the romantic film Traci was talking about back at the Three Broomsticks! The cliche girl meets stereotypical guy. Something epic happens and they lived happily ever after. Yep, that pretty much sums my life up. Ace kisses me passionately and I don't hesitate to kiss him back the same way. Breaking the kiss, I tilt my head on his shoulder and he wraps his arms around me. We stare into the sun set, watching it slowly go down.

I don't know where my life at Hogwarts is heading. But one thing that I do know, is that the rest of this year is going to be a wild one.
