Elizabeth went to bed, daring herself to look at Noah once more, she did and caught him looking back at her. She wondered why she felt so, different. She'd never experienced this feeling before, it couldn't be love? She felt sick at the thought, she'd never be in love, she had promised herself. Never. But it felt so strange, how could she do this? Never. 

As she rested, Elizabeth couldn't stop thinking about Noah, his tanned olive skin, dark green eyes that shined, his chocolate hair looked like it had been placed around his head by an angel. He probably didn't know the phrase 'bad hair day', Elizabeth sighed, she listened to the soft snores of her best friend, Mia. She felt so bad, it had been their first day at Hogwarts together and she couldn't stop thinking about a boy. What kind of friend was she?

As she went over the day, she realised that Noah seemed to just sit and listen, not brag and shout like the boys at her old school did, he was different. Perhaps if she really fancied him, she should tell him, Elizabeth laughed at herself for even dreming of talking to him.
