When Lucius Malfoy went to collect baby Harry Potter he wasn't counting on there being two babies at the Potter Ruins. He also wasn't counting on grabbing the wrong one by accident. And he wasn't counting on keeping the young girl with shining emerald eyes either.

“NARCISSA!” Lucius Malfoy bellowed, holding a piece of parchment in his hand, a ripped envelope lying on the table in front of him.
Narcissa Malfoy came running into the sitting room, where Lucis stood holding the letter, shaking with anger.
“What is it, Lucius?” she asked soothingly, “It isn’t about Draco is it?”
Lucius glared at his wife, “No, it isn’t about Draco, it is from Draco. About Azalea.”
Narcissa gasped, “She is okay, isn’t she? What did Draco say about her?”
“Well,” Lucius began, “He couldn’t say much about her at all, he hasn’t seen her since before the Feast.”
“Why not? They share a dorm, do they not?” Narcissa questioned.
Lucius inhaled, “They were supposed to share a dorm, but it seems our plans have changed, since Azalea has not been sorted into Slytherin. Azalea is a Gryffindor.”
Narcissa’s eyes widened, “But how? I thought we knocked all that Potter-ness out of her, she was as pureblood as she could be!”
“That is what we thought, but I suppose blood cannot be changed, no matter who raises the kid,” Lucius replied.
“You know what we have to do right?” Narcissa asked.
Lucius shook his head, “We can’t tell Bellatrix. You know that. She will go straight to Dumbledore and if she does that, then she will be back in Azkaban for good. It is a good thing we managed to slip Bellatrix out twelve years ago when we did, we cannot risk her safety now.”
“So, what are we supposed to do? Keep the fact that Azalea isn’t a Slytherin, and even worse, a Gryffindor, a secret from her? She is my sister!” Narcissa retorted.
“Cissa, I know. But we just can’t risk it. It is too dangerous,” Lucius said.
Narcissa sighed, “I know.” She picked up the letter, quickly read it over, and tossed it in the fire, “The only way this is going to work is if we let Draco know what we are doing. He could write something to Bella that lets her know that Azalea isn’t is his same house.”
Lucius nodded, “Okay, can you write him, tell him what is going on? Let him know that he needs to do everything in his power to keep Azalea with him. Who knows what she could get up to in that Gryffindor tower.”
Narcissa grabbed the letter supplies, “Okay, I’ll have it done by eleven, just enough time to get the letter to Draco by morning post.”
“Okay,” Lucius replied, looking a bit anxious.
Narcissa walked over to him and grabbed his hand, “It will all be okay. We will figure this out and get through it, no matter what we need to do to keep Azalea with us.”
Lucius squeezed Narcissa’s small hand, “I know, Cissa, I know.”
