Her lips were hot against his, sloppy kisses full of want and need. Hands everywhere, her skin prickling with pleasure. "You...you need to leave.", Sirius panted helplessly as Lyra unbuttoned his pants. "Shh, less talking, more kissing.", she whispered, pulling up her skirt. "B-But your parents...", Sirius babbled while he couldn't stop himself from fumbling with her blouse. "Oh please don't talk about my parents while we're doing this.", Lyra said, finally getting rid of the disruptive fabric. "I just don't want you to get in trouble." Sirius' tongue was heavy with arousal but he still managed to look her in the eye, concerned. "I'll be in trouble no matter what, so fuck it.", Lyra shrugged and took off her bra. Sirius' mouth fell open, he couldn't help but stare.
Lyra grinned. "Yeah, that's more like it." She gripped a handful of Sirius' silky black hair and pulled him close. The young man let out a quiet moan as he touched her soft skin, smelling of lavender and Lyra leaned into him. "Merlin, you're gorgeous.", he groaned, lips trailing over every sweet and sinful inch of her breasts. "And you...god, I wish you could see yourself right now." Lyra cupped Sirius' face with her hands, ravaging his lips once more before she continued to undress him. She wanted all of him, she wanted to see him and feel him.
Because he's mine, Lyra thought and it made her happy to know that she was the first one to see Sirius like that. Stripped of his elegant attitude, a puddle of flushed cheeks and ruffled hair.
Seconds after losing his pants, Sirius rolled over Lyra, gently burying her beneath him. Her black locks flowing over the white pillow, her face almost glowing, and her eyes... Oh for Godric's sake, her eyes were so beautiful he could get lost in them. Sirius kissed her nose, her cheek, her neck. He was rewarded with sweet little moans and heavy breathing, encouraging him to go further. And oh sinking into her felt so good Sirius thought he was going to lose his mind. She was all around him, her scent, her voice, and Sirius was ready to drown.
As he lay on top of her, blissed-out, her arms wrapped around him, he listened to her heartbeat slowing down. "You okay?", he asked, his voice sounding hoarse. "Yeah...never felt better, to be honest.", Lyra said, stroking his hair. "Good.", Sirius mumbled, closing his eyes. They stayed like this for another ten sweet minutes, until Lyra grabbed her wand and cast a cleaning spell. "As much as I would love to stay...I think I should go now. I'm already late."
Sirius sighed and sat up, feeling dizzy and sleepily. "Should I come with you?" "No, I think that would only make things worse. I mean...it's already bad enough that my parents thought it would be necessary to come to Hogwarts." Lyra took the brush that was laying on Sirius' nightstand and started to comb her hair makeshift. Sirius felt the sheets getting cold. "I know but...I don't like the feeling of you facing them alone."
Lyra smiled as she got dressed. "I will be fine, don't worry." "I'm always worrying.", Sirius replied, raising an eyebrow. "Look, you have the map, right? You can keep an eye on me all the time.", Lyra explained, trying to make herself look like she didn't just have sex. "But I...", Sirius started, but Lyra cut him off with a quick kiss. "Get dressed, okay? No one besides me should see you like this." She closed the last button on her blouse and walked towards the door. "See you later, love you!" "Love you too!"
And with that Lyra closed the door behind her...and she realized that they had just said 'I love you' for the very first time. Suddenly blushing all to herself, Lyra walked down the stairs into the common room. "Oh, hey Moony." Remus who sat on the window sill and was reading a book looked up. "Hey Smirks, where's Padfoot?" "Upstairs, worrying because I have a meeting with my parents.", Lyra said, trying to tame her curls a bit more. "Will you be okay?", Remus wanted to know and Lyra smiled.
Ever since he had told her about his sexuality and his massive crush on Sirius they had grown closer to each other. Not that they hadn't been close before but Lyra was the only one who understood how Remus was feeling and they often talked about his fears and insecurities. It helped them both.
"I will be fine. But you should look after him. Try to calm him down a bit while I'm gone, okay Moons?" "I will, for you.", Remus said, closing his book. "But if you need help send a Patronus and we will be there." Lyra nodded. "I know that I can always count on my boys." The marauders would always be there for her, always have her back. She knew that and I made her feel braver. And that courage didn't leave her even as she approached the Great Hall, her parents waiting for her.
Davina immediately scanned her daughter from head to toe, turning up her nose. Oh shit, Lyra thought. She knows. "You are late.", Yorick said harshly and Lyra rolled her eyes. "I had a free period, blame me for wanting to have some fun." "Stop acting like a child!", Davina shrieked, her face scrunched up into a display of pure discontent. Lyra flinched, her mother was furious obviously but for some reason, it frightened her more than normal.
"Why did you come here in the first place?", she asked, carefully choosing her words. "We need to talk about your...involvement with that runaway boy.", Davina said and Lyra felt her eye twitch. "Involvement? He is my boyfriend, my fiance." "The engagement was repealed the moment he chose to be a coward.", Yorick spat and Lyra felt that boiling rage flaring up inside her.
"He is not a coward, he was brave enough to make the right choice!" "Don't you dare raise your voice!" Davina grabbed her daughter's wrist. "That boy chose the company of mudbloods and traitors, he is not a suitable match for you." "That's not for you to decide, mother.", Lyra hissed and she knew that it only needed one more word and she would lose her temper. "You are my daughter and you will not marry a man who was disowned by his family.", Davina explained in a cold manner, her grip tightening.
"I will not leave him because you want me to. I love him!", Lyra replied and the next thing she felt was a burning sensation crawling up the right side of her face.
"You are a disgrace, you should be grateful that I'm still trying to find an honorable wizard who is willing to take you." Davina finally let go of Lyra and took a step back. "Your brother will keep an eye on you and report to me. Don't think you can fornicate with that boy behind my back." Lyra didn't answer, she was busy controlling her emotions. She was only seconds away from drawing her wand. "I'm ashamed to call you my daughter.", Yorick snapped, before taking Davina's arm, leaving the Great Hall with her.
Lyra stood there for another minute, unable to move. Her thoughts were racing inside her head, screaming and raging. She didn't know what to do or feel. There was just too much going on. Frantically she went through her hair, aware that her curls were a mess but she didn't care. "Sirius..." The name shot through her brain, loud and clear as a bell. Lyra turned around. Sirius was the only thing she needed right now. His arms, his scent, it would calm her down. One look into his eyes and she would feel loved.
Heart racing and mouth dry she walked up the stairs to the Gryffindor tower, only to be met by James who beamed at her, not noticing how distressed she was. "She said yes!", was the only thing he said, gripping Lyra by the shoulders. She blinked confused. "W-What? Who? What are you talking about?" "Lily! I asked her again and she said yes!", James giggled, unable to contain his excitement.
"Oh, that's good. I'm happy for you Prongs.", Lyra said absently, feeling too run over to actually realize what was going on. James frowned. "You okay? You look...disturbed.", he said, softening his grip and pulling her a little bit closer. "Did you and Pads have a fight?"
"No, no I uhm...had a meeting with my parents. It uhm...didn't go very well." Lyra gently squirmed out of James' hug. "I need to talk to Sirius, sorry. But I'm happy Lily finally fell for you, guess you were right after all." James let her go, he had never seen Lyra like this, not even after she and Sirius had crash-landed in front of his parents' house last Christmas. "Okay, I'll be there in ten minutes. Marauders meeting in the common room, okay?" Lyra just nodded and slipped through the portrait hole after muttering the password.
Her legs felt wobbly as she walked past the red sofa. Remus was gone, probably upstairs with Sirius to stop him from worrying. Good, she needed him calm in order to get a hold of herself. Lyra swayed a little bit as she claimed the stairs, pushing open the door to the dorm without looking up or knocking. "Sirius, I..."
The rest of the sentence slipped away as she froze. Sirius was sitting on his bed, still half-naked, lips red and swollen. His hands had vanished under a dark green coarsely woven jumper. Remus was sitting on top of him, legs tangled with the bedsheets and he didn't notice that they weren't alone anymore until Lyra slumped against the wall.
"Lyra! Shit, shit, shit!" Remus hurriedly got up, trying to smooth out his clothes and hair but to no avail. "I'm sorry, it's not what it looks like, I swear." He turned around, looking at Sirius for help who seemingly had turned into a statue. He was not moving, not even breathing. Just staring at Lyra who felt like everything came crashing down on her.
Her heart slowly cracked, shattering into a million pieces. And before Remus could reach out to her, she ripped open the door and ran away.
