The Philosopher'S Stone

Chapter 1

In 1991 the Philosopher's Stone became the target of the dark wizard Lord Voldemort in his quest for immortality. Voldemort used a human host, Quirinus Quirrell, to search Hogwarts, where he was hiding. The stone had been originally stored in Vault 713 Gringotts Bank. However, possibly suspecting a threat, Albus Dumbledore sent Rubeus Hagrid to remove in the morning of the robbery attempt.

After that, the Stone was kept in a special chamber and protected for seven spells and creatures: A giant three-headed dog named Fluffy; a network of Devil's Snare; keys enchanted flying; Chess game Magic actual size; mountain troll; a riddle potions; and the Mirror of Erised. Just to keep it safe, Dumbledore banned from the hallway on the third floor all students.

Harry Potter and his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger suspected that the stone was to be stolen. When listening to conversations out of context, they thought that the thief was Professor Severus Snape.

Harry felt compelled to protect the stone and he and his friends, using intellectual powers and heroism far above their ages, fought through obstacles, until finally Harry was forced to confront Quirrell and Voldemort himself. in
