Andromeda and Narcissa's reconciliation
Chapter 1
If Rose Granger-Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy end up together, their relationship would be the Romeo and Juliet of the HP universe that can end the feud between the Weasleys and the Malfoys.
The friendship between Marigold Lupin-Black, the adoptive niece of Andromeda Tonks, and Scorpius, the grandson of Narcissa Malfoy, represents the reconciliation between the two surviving sisters of the Black family. Narcissa, who maintained her pureblood supremacist ideologies even after the downfall of Lord Voldemort, initially viewed Marigold, the half-blood daughter of her "blood-traitor" cousin and a werewolf and the niece of her "blood-traitor" sister, with contempt.
However, Narcissa's greatest strength, her love for her family, plays a redeeming role once again. Her love for Scorpius encourages her to see Marigold as a kind and brilliant girl rather than the embodiment of everything she looked down upon. As she got to know her beloved grandson's best friend, the prejudice that has been engrained in Narcissa's mind from a young age gradually faded away.
It is significant to note that Narcissa and Lucius disapproved of Draco’s marriage to “blood-traitor” Astoria Greengrass. The new Narcissa, who was now free from pureblood supremacist ideologies, tells Scorpius that she wouldn’t mind if he falls in love with Marigold. (however, while Scorpius told her that he only loves Marigold as he would love a sister, he never mentioned his feelings for another girl, namely Rose Granger-Weasley)
When Draco drops off Scorpius at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters in his fourth year, Narcissa accompanies them in hopes of seeing Marigold and Andromeda. As Marigold and Scorpius excitedly greet each other, Andromeda and Narcissa notice each other.
After a few awkward glances towards each other, Narcissa initiates conversation, assuring her older sister that she is not the same person she was in the past. Andromeda is touched when she sees Narcissa’s interaction with Marigold and Teddy and her new warm attitude towards Sirius and Remus. The sisters exchange a tearful embrace, vowing to put the past behind them and promising a new beginning.
