James Sirius Potter x Marigold Lupin-Black headcanons
Chapter 1
- when James got sorted into Gryffindor, Marigold (who was a second-year at the time) cheered the loudest
- James being an annoying prankster to everyone but being a total sweetheart to Marigold
- Marigold and James reminiscing the Marauders' school days
- "That was my grandpa!"
- "That was my dad!"
- Marigold and James both played on the Gryffindor Quidditch team (Marigold was the Seeker, James was a Chaser like his grandfather) and bonded over their mutual interest in Quidditch
- During his fourth year, James ended up in a relationship with a fifth-year bc he couldn't reject her advances
- James broke up with her after a few weeks and vowed himself to not be in a relationship from then on
- Marigold has never been in a relationship but she started falling for James during her sixth year
- James also had feelings for Marigold but was in denial bc of the promise he made to himself
- James gradually began to accept his feelings for Marigold after she became depressed from being rejected and finally asked her out in his sixth year
- Marigold's Patronus was originally a wild rabbit but it changed into a doe (a counterpart to James's stag) in her seventh year
