(A few hours later)

(Jacob’s POV) 

“Jacob, Jacob!” I heard a muffled voice call out to me. “JACOB PLEASE!” I shot up when I heard the scream. “SIERRA!” I ran outside of the tent, ready to fight. But what I saw made me drop my fists in fear. “Sierra,” I whispered. “What have you done with her?” I motioned to the body on the ground in anger. “We saved your life.” a deep voice came from one of the tall men surrounding Sierra. 

“Wh- I- saved my life?” I had no idea what was going on. “She is dangerous and not to be messed with. Was.” The man smiled down admiring his work.  “But she loved me” “She was merely toying with you to earn your affection and now we came to kill her. Nice work boys now let's move out.” And they all scurried away from Sierra’s body. I gasped when I saw her. She was nearly unrecognizable and covered in blood. 

You can still slightly see the last scream written on her face. “Sierra” I fell to my knees. “I don’t believe any of the lies the men said.” I started crying as I grasped her hand, still slightly warm. “Jacob.” I heard a faint scratchy voice. “Sierra.” My head shot up in relief. “I love you.” And she breathed her last breath. “And I love you.” As I started to tear up, I kissed her hand and let it fall. I was determined to hunt every single one of those monsters down and slay them all. (Thor quote lol)  

My sadness turned to anger. “She died. So I  must live to avenge her.”
