(2 months later) (Sierra’s pov)

“Ugh, I feel sick. “ I whisper to myself. I silently run to the bathroom, and put my hair into a messy bun. Uh oh. (*pukes*) I hold my stomach. Damn you baby. Why do you make me so sick?

(an hour later) 

It was morning and it was beautiful outside. There were no clouds in sight, no rain. It was the perfect day to go on a morning run. I had woken up a little early, so I had time to get some stuff for Jacob. I also had some other things to do. Which was to look for some ideas for baby names and other crap. 

I didn’t want to worry about that right now, I needed my daily morning routine down, and fast. I had taken a pregnancy test to check if I was with child, or if I wasn’t. Indeed, I was with child. A little baby in my belly. I could think of so many imaginary times with my future child. Their first day of preschool, high school, middle school. Their first words. 

Gosh, I don’t even know if I could handle their first day of school. As a new pregnant mom, I took things easy. I told Jacob I was “on my monthly” so that he didn’t think of anything suspicious. Which of course he didn’t. I’m glad. I don’t want him to find out yet. Not until later tonight, when we go to bed. 

I would wear a loose short tank top, with shorts, and then I would see his reaction. I probably would be watching Netflix or something like that. 

(Later in the night, 8:00)

“Baby, come here! Let’s watch a movie!” Jacob yells. I lift my head. Good gracious, I'm so tired. I walk over to the couch, and fall onto Jacob’s chest. “Ow.” “Sorry,” I mutter. He rolls his eyes. He notices something on my shirt. “Hey, that outfit is cute, where did you get it?” I look down. I shrug. “I dunno, I forgot.”I put my hand against my stomach. “You okay?” He asked, catching me. I nod gently. “Are you 100%?” He reassures me. 

I lift my head up, and stare at him. “Yes.” I put my head back down. “You know what, maybe we should go to bed early tonight. You seem really tired.” He whispers. I take a breath. I blink. “No, really I am okay.” I smile. He sighs. “Alright then, I’ll pick a movie, then we’ll go to bed. Ok, baby?” I nod. He smiles at me, and kisses my forehead. 

I cuddle close to him, and wrap my arms around his waist. I can feel his chest rising as he breathes. His hand is stroking through my hair, making me even more tired than I already am. He picks out a disney movie, Tangled. When we were halfway through the movie, I fell asleep. 

(The next morning)(Jacob’s POV)

I gently nudge Sierra awake so I can surprise her with a little something. I move closer to her, so she is resting on my arm. She turns over, and faces me. Her breath breathing back onto me. I get a feeling, and kiss her gently, pulling her closer to me. 

She smiles, while she is still asleep. “Hi beautiful.” I whisper. Her head is now in the nook of my neck. “Hi handsome.” She responds, in a tired voice. I kiss the top of her head. “What do you want to do today, sweetie?” I ask her. “I want food.” she responds. I sigh, “Really, food?” 

She looks up at me. “Yes, I NEED FOOOOOD!” She whispers loudly. I get startled a little. “Geez, okay. I’ll grab food.” I whisper back to her, gently. She rolls off my arm, and rests on my pillow. I sigh, and sit up against the headboard. She is now resting on my lap. I stroke her hair. I do not want to leave this moment. 

“You’re so gorgeous, Sierra.” I sigh. She smiles and looks up at me. “Yeah, and you know who else is going to be pretty?” She asks me. I tilt my head. “What? Who is going to be pretty?” I ask her. She sighs and sits up with her legs crossed. She takes a breath. “Your future daughter.” She says. 

I look at her confused. “Wait, our future daughter? What do you mean?” I ask her. She rolls her eyes, and gets off the bed. I see that she is going to the bathroom. “Sierra, what are you doing?” I ask her. 

(Sierra’s POV)

I roll my eyes at him, is he not getting the point that I am with his child? Good god. The things I would try to say to him, he gets confused at everything. Meh, oh well. I get up and walk over to the bathroom. 

Sierra, what are you doing?” He asked me. I look back at him. “I’m grabbing something-” I catch myself from telling him. Ooh, close call. Thank god he didn’t hear me stutter at the end. I sigh, and picked up the pregnancy test I took about a couple weeks ago. I smiled when I first took it. I had taken it every week, just to make sure I was pregnant with his child. 

I take a breath and walk out of the bathroom. I have the test in my right hand, and put it in my back pocket. “Ok, so now that you got something from there-” “Ok ok, hold up. Guess which hand I’m holding the thing in.” I ask him. He looks at me with confusion, but then his smile, his gentle smile, turns into a smirk. 

“Alright, I see where you’re going with this. Right hand.” He smirks at me. He bites his lip a bit. I sigh, “Nope, wrong guess sir. Here, take a look at this. “ I placed the test on the nightstand. (Jacob is off the bed, and Sierra is near the nightstand, also near the bed.) 

I lift my shirt up a little, and turn to the side. He looks at me, then at my stomach. “Wait, why is your- Sierra, you’re pregnant?!” He shouts. I quiet him down. “Yes, 2 months pregnant to be exact. His eyes widened. “You’ve hid this from me for two months? Why?” He asks. 

I look at the ground. “I wanted to surprise you, but you were busy with-” I paused. He moves closer to me. “What is it? Tell me.” He lifts my chin for me to look at him. I look away, and move back from him. “You were busy with another girl. Someone I don’t know or talk to.” 

His face turns angrily. “Who are you talking about? I have several girl best friends, and I was talking to one of them to help them with a surprise for her girlfriend.” He says. I am not sure if I can trust him, so I put his phone back down. 

“If I can trust you, would you go get a package from the door for me please?” I ask him. He looks at me confused. “Oh ok. I’ll go get it.” He opens the front door, and I watch on the security camera. 

I had my best friend, Amanda, try to “seduce him”. He looks at Amanda, and looks at her in disgust. “What are you wearing? It looks like you’re going to a sl*t club. “ He closes the door in her face. He goes back to the bedroom, and sees my shocked face. “Wow.” I say. 

“What? You didn’t think I could roast someone who is already ugly?” He says with a smirk, walking toward me. I was still in shock, and then sparks flew. I was going to be forever with this man. My Jacob. My forever.
