Dear diary, 

Dad has asked again what house I got into so I wrote him a letter, in neat handwriting so I'd be like he wanted. 

Dear Father,

It pleasures me to say I am in Slytherin! The sorting had some troubles with finding the right house but he knew what was right for me. I'm trying to do well like you said and I think I have been, I'm waiting on my first Herbology results, I'll write to you again soon.

I hope he buys it - but what if the school tells him? I'll be in even more trouble than if I told the truth - I'll just have to be careful. 

I got 50 percent on my quiz but I'll have to tell Dad I got 100, he wont take me away from Hogwarts and I can hide away from him and Mum for 7 years. It all seems to fit quite nicely - that is - unless something slips.
