6 years have past after when Hermione, Ron and Harry became friends. They were now best friends but Harry thought more of Hermione than 'just a friend.' Harry and Hermione were both single as Ron was in love with Lavender Brown. Ginny wanted a break after breaking up with Dean Thomas. Luna wasn't intrested as she thought it would be stupid to date someone. Fred had Angelina Johnson and George wasn't intrested like most so Harry and Hermione were just there without anyone. Harry hoped that one day Hermione would say that she liked Harry but he didn't think she ever would as she now cries a lot because of Ron and Lavender so he personally thought Hermione might actually like Ron. Because of Lavender, Ron spent much less time with him and Hermione so they had lots of time alone. They always would laugh together yet sometimes the girl might not have been in the mood.
