Trivia Game 3: Quidditch

Chapter 4

Quidditch is easy enough to understand, and play. But you must know the Harry Potter version of Quidditch to understand.

So, as you know there are 7 players per team. This is the same, the players are:

3 Chasers

2 Beaters

1 Keeper

1 Seeker

~

These players each have different roles which are:

Chasers: Try to score

Keeper: Try to save the shots of Chasers

Beaters: Try to knock players off their brooms

Seeker: Try to catch the snitch

~

How you play:

When they quaffle is thrown in the air, a question is asked by the referee. THIS QUESTION IS ONLY FOR THE CHASERS, NO ONE ELSE MUST ANSWER BUT THEM. Once a chaser answers correctly, their team gains possession.  The chasers must then attempt to travel down the field, with the quaffle and score. If a buldger is hit toward them then they are forced to stop, answer the question, and if they get it right continue moving, but, if they are wrong the opposing team gains possession. Chasers can try to get it as well, and if they do try to get it, then a question is asked to both of them and whoever gets it right first gets the quaffle. PLEASE NOTE THAT AN OPPOSING CHASER CAN ONLY ATTEMPT TO GET THE QUAFFLE ONCE DURING THE CHASERS TRAVEL DOWN THE FIELD, THIS APPLIES TO ALL CHASERS. If a chaser makes it to the other end safely, then they shoot, the referee will ask a question and if the chaser gets it right first then their team gains 10 points, if the keeper gets it right first then they successfully block it and the quaffle goes back to the referee and they start again. This also applies to if the chaser scores.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THE QUESTION CAN ONLY BE ANSWERED BY THE KEEPER AND CHASER WHO IS SCORING.

IF YOU OR SOMEONE ON YOUR TEAM ANSWERS A QUESTION NOT DIRECTED TO THEM, THEN THEIR TEAM TAKES AWAY 30 POINTS!

While all this is happening, your wondering where is the seekers? Well the seekers are given a quiz with 10 questions. Which ever seeker gets the most right fastest, the game ends, and that seekers team is awarded 150 points.

Which ever team has the most amount of points, wins the game.
