Hya!

So I've been wanting to do this for a while so why not now?

So there will be different competitions to fit your writing style and hopefully you will participate in one or even more if you wish to.

Time Limit:

So I don't want anyone to feel rushed but there will be a time limit just so that I can announce which stories I liked the best. The time starts on 12-15-21 and ends after 7 days on 12-22-21.

I will only announce those that are turned in between these dates and will try to announce the places of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for all the competitions. 

I will make a new book telling what competition and the prompt for it, who wrote the piece, and if it's okay with the writer, their writing.

Kinds Of Competitions:

There will be a poem, a 1,000-3,000 word story, and a paragraph story competition. 3 differnt types total and there will be three themes and an option of a free write theme of your own that you could choose to write about. You're welcome to enter any of these competitions and could choose more than one to participate in, but you cannot enter two workpieces for one competition. (If you don't understand what I'm saying you can enter something for the poem, 1k-3k word story, or the paragraph story but oyu cannot enter two things for the same competition.) Also, for the poem,  you can do however style of poem you'll like and on the 1k-3k it has to be 1k-3k words.

The themes for these competitions will be the same. You can pick wichever one you like best or you also have the option to just write what you want, though it would seem more fair to pick one of these optoins.

Themes:

• Write about someone who got stuck in a different world (mentally or physically)


• Write about someone that is lost or got lost (mentally or physically)


• Write about someone who can't control something. (themselves or powers or etc.)


• Free write

To Turn In Your Work:

Just owl me what competition you are entering (Poem, 1k-3k, or Paragraph) and then put your work so that I can look it over. I will try to look at the messages as soon as possible. Remember you have 7 days to work on it so you don't need to rush. I won't be picking at your grammar though I would apprieciate it if you had it checked over for your grammar so that I can read it. You don't have to be very good at writing, because this is mostly just for fun.

If I didn't get everyhting and you have a few questions go ahead and owl me and I will get to you when I can. I'll try to check on here a couple times a day and answer anything or read what you send me. You can either owl me your work or send me a link to it. 

Announcing:

Once the 7th day is over I will no longer take in any other work (I'm sorry) and I will try to get eveyrhting organized over Christmas and post on my wall on hopefully 12-27-21 or 12-28-21 with a link to a new book with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for each competition. I will also message each person who entered with the link to the new book. Hopefully we have enough entries to get every competition at least the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. I will also be posting others works if I thought that it was a close tie or if they really want me to post it. I hope you are okay with the waiting until the results are out.
