Val rushed down to the beach, excited but nervous, she and Posidon were close friends and he grew a liking for her and asked her out, she was at the beach waiting for her date, she couldn't deny her love for him, she couldn't contain her excitement "I'm going on a date with the lord of the sea!" she shouted out to the deserted beach. 

She turned back to the sea and saw Poseidon

"Someone's excited" He chuckled, Valentina turned around her face flushed with embarrassment,

" It's not funny!"

"It is too," he replied, "But I'm happy to see you thrilled about this date", They walked along the beach while Poseidon narrated many of his stories and told her all about his palace underwater.

"I want to take you somewhere special," He said.

"Where?" Val asked

"It's a beach that only I know of, just to stay alone and not be disturbed by others" He replied, Once they reach Poseiden invited Val to take his hand and they went for a stroll along the shoreline, after the stroll they walked through a stairway that entered another magical part of the beach, Poseidon had taken with him a small basket and a beach towel.

Val helped him set the towel on the ground then as lunchtime was near he opened the small basket.

"And here we are," he said as he put down all the food and drinks.

"You made this all by yourself?" I asked while sitting down and grabbing a sandwich for myself.

"I have to be able to if I'm living alone". And we started eating and everything tasted heavenly.

After they finished the meal Poseidon stood up and removed the shirt that he was wearing.

Valentina turned her head away and blushed but he didn't seem to notice.

"I'm going for a swim, care to join?" He asked. Seeing as Val wasn't listening and was daydreaming he picked her up in his arms

"What are you doing? Let me down!" She shouted, she noticed how his muscles were toned and his arms felt strong and steady.

"If you're not coming into the water I guess I'll have to throw you in.." he grinned. Val escaped out of his hands and started running.

"Only if you can catch me," she said with a mischievous grin. He ran after her and tackled her to the ground. He stared into her green eyes lifted her chin with his hand.

"You are not like other women," he whispered, "and I wouldn't have it any other way" His lips landed on her with his hands around her waist, she ran her hands through his soft hair as he kissed her slowly, but the kiss finished as soon at it began. Poseidon stood up and helped Valentina up.

They walked back to the old beach.

"Goodbye my love," He said as he kissed her forehead.

"Thank you for this," Valentina replied.

"It's nothing, now go get some rest love" He smiled.
