In 1991, Rachelle Lupin (Ravenclaw) was married to Liam Baeytorin (Slytherin), both of the Most Ancient and Noble Houses. They moved to Ireland in 1993. Their first child, named Caitlin Lucette (or as she came to be called, Lucy,) was born in 1996 on the 28th of May, with suprisingly red hair. When Lucy was almost five years old, her younger sister Hannah Margaret was born, (with their parents' trademark curly brown hair,) in March of 2000. The third Baeytorin child, Kendalin Katrina (KK) was born a year and a half later on September third, nine days before the muggle terrorist attack in New York known as 9/11.

The Baeytorin sisters grew up in a pureblood household, but their parents were very different from the stereotypical pureblood supremesists. Growing up, they had the freedom to befriend whomever they wished, and the girls found common ground with the muggle children of their neighborhood. 

Lucy first showed magical ability at age 6, and they thought about moving closer to Hogwarts, however they didn't actually leave Ireland until 2005- and that was the year that the girls' mother died. She'd been working with magical creatures at the ministry (another factor in determining the move to England,) when she was in a bad accident and was mortally wounded by a manticore.  Later that year, when Hannah reached 5 years old and showed her first magical ability in the presence of their nonmagical friends, the girls' father thought it would be prudent to move into a magical neighborhood closer to England. He wanted to start a new life and move on, and it fit the setting. It was a logical move, as Lucy was only a year away from entering her first year at Hogwarts.

It was fitting that each of the Baeytorin girls was sorted into Slytherin upon her arrival at Hogwarts School. Lucy and Hannah, not long after their (separate) arrivals, both became Prefects for Astronomy, under Professors Dax Polgara and Brad Turing (Hannah quicker so than her elder sister.) Lucy also became a Potions prefect for Professor Lucrezia Batyaeva, and a Prefect of Defense Against the Dark Arts, led by Melanie Silvers and Jericho Penrose.

The two girls were not long in befriending their Professors, fellow Prefects, and fellow students; Lucy found friends in Professors Maddox and Batyaeva, and Hannah befriended both of them, as well as others, including Professors Greenwich, Rubedo, and Dowler. The two were both promoted to Moderators of the Great Hall, where they helped keep the peace and end conflicts between other students.

Now, before this matured point in Lucy's Hogwarts career, she had befriended one Ashley Snape. The two of them, for a while, were unstoppable Partners in Crime- and by this, I mean to say, that they were the well-known pranksters of Hogwarts. 

The two girls welcomed Apolline Tabou and Valorie Wolf, as well as one Rani Flame into their little circle, and they were the undisputed "hooligans". They found fun in pranking the offices of Professors- leaving traps, throwing glitter, and generally making a mess. They mixed up the Potions, replaced robes with princess gowns, and left little decorations all over the school. (Glitter seemed to be a key component in their antics.) In one case, Lucy and Ashley even went so far as to tie up Professors Prince, Batyaeva, Silvers, Greenwich, and Black, disarm them, cover them in glitter and paint, and set Nifflers upon them. But the story of the Legendary HiH Pranksters is another one, for another time.

Meanwhile, Hannah was acting far more mature than her older sister, and had been accepted as an Astronomy PA- which brings us back to the storyline.

When Kendalin Katrina came to Hogwarts, she had a lot to live up to the names of her sisters, but she was far more shy than either Hannah or Lucy, and therefore chose to take a different route and place her focus on her schoolwork. She applied to a few Prefect positions and was not accepted, but she didn't give up trying!

All three of the girls excelled in their classes. Of course, each girl had her Academic struggles. Lucy did not do so well in her History of Magic courses, but still managed to scrape by with at least a low 'Exceeds Expectations'. KK also struggled with History of Magic, and fought through with determination to keep her Outstanding. Hannah had her trouble with Transfiguration, but she persevered and finished with a passing grade, much to her relief!

The girls each had their groups of friends, of course, some shared, and some not. Lucy and Hannah were part of the closely knit Astronomy Team, and Lucy found comfort in her pranking friends, all of whom had stuck together since their pranking days.

The Baeytorin sisters never give up on each other. They stay vigilant to their aspirations and to each other, and they always will.
