Astronomy lesson 1

Astronomy, Muggle and Magical:

⁃ in year one observe the sky

⁃ learn about our solar system neighbours 

⁃ connection of astronomy and magic

⁃ Astronomy: study of universe, celestial bodies, hoe things in outer space were formed

⁃ different focus from magic and no magic astronomy 

⁃ after international statute of secrecy wizards made the  muggels believe all they “know” about the magic world is only a myth 

⁃ muggels are excellent at observing 

⁃ many wizards go to muggel university to learn about muggle astronomy 

⁃ hard to use electronic in magic world because of all the magic (in Hogwarts impossible)

⁃ Wizards and witches know that through astronomy they can predict things 

⁃ Werwolf = full moon 

How to earn a grade of outstanding in my class:

⁃ take notes (not graded but helps learning)

⁃ if question ask PAs or the professor 

⁃ do the required assignments 

⁃ you can retake failed test as long as you didn’t fail because of plagiarism 

⁃ write NES if your not a native English speaker and LD if you have a learning disability 

⁃ to improve knowledge do the extra credits
