Hello, everyone.

I invite you to accompany me in a journey through to the past, from the very first moment that you heard or read about HiH, our amazing and beloved Hogwarts is Here website. 

There are several ways that you could have heard of this website. Some of you might have found an advertisement or news about it, others saw it on social media or heard about it from a fellow Harry Potter fan friend. In my case, my mother, who is also a Potterhead, told me about it in the first big wave of the pandemic. Whoever you are and whatever your reason for joining HiH remmember it. It is very likely related with the love you nurture for Harry Potter and the Wizarding World. Every single soul on HiH either joined it because of their curiosity and willingness to learn more about this magical world or due to their knowledge and love for it.

When you first joined it, you probably took a few classes or entered in a few Harry Potter related roleplays and groups. Look at your oldest posts and notifiations and see if I'm right. Very well!

Now, continue your journey... Between a few months and a year after you joined, you'll probably find some roleplay or owl that is not about the Wizarding World. I have some of them myself... Yeah... It is completely normal. 

Most of the people who joined HiH don't reach this part. They probably forgot about it and maybe someday they will return or maybe not. If you are still here after a long period of time, Congratulations! You are a true survivor.

Now, look at HiH at this very moment. See the books in the library, the groups and roleplays, your posts and owls and your house points. Probably the library, groups and roleplays will seem right at first, with just a few off topic books or groups. Now go back and start adding up what you find. There are probably several now. See your owls and posts now. Most of them are probably non-Wizarding World related. Look at your house points, probably you haven't done any lesson recently.

HiH is turning into a small version of social media. People now care about who has the most follows and make posts in your walls asking for you to follow them. Even though follows can help you meet people, they aren't what HiH is about. Now, look at your backstory and of your friends. It is probably highly coded as mine is and they probably keep changing it frequently. HiH isn't about how your backstory looks, just about the info that you put there and several people have OC's that are not related to our magical world. Most of the conversations and roleplays are not HP related, as well as several books in the library.

The Keepers want to help HiH be a better place. More Wizarding World focused and more Hogwartsy. Help us reach our goal and spread this Hogwarts loving message.

Write books about this magical world, take the classes that you are most intriged about and speak with your fellow Potterheads about this world. Keeping bringing the magic to yourselves!
