Most people see Dumbledore as one of the best wizards of all times, which I don’t disagree with ! There is a new theory that he betrayed most of the people that believed on him or based on him. For example the Potters, he didn’t hide them well enough from Voldemort. Of course, with them telling Peter Pettigrew their secret, he couldn’t do something for that, which is totally understandable. Some sources also say that he knew that Peter was going to tell Voldemort the secret and didn’t do anything about it! Others say that he is responsible for his sister’s death, which I think it’s not true because as we know for J.K Rowling, Ariana died when she was accidentally struck by a curse in a three-way duel between her older brothers and Gellert Grindelwald. Others again say that he betrayed and manipulated Harry, the betrayal was that he raised him to be a Pig for Slaughter and the manipulation was that he used Harry to get to Slughorn. This theory has a base but it isn’t to understandable, because as we know Dumbledore truly cared about Harry!
