Chapter 6
After a week full of preping for the school, (we got a week off because of a little repairs and fire damage) I was as ready as the wind was to glide. I entered the classroom. "Good morning Jinx." The new teacher announced. I smiled weakly and waved. The teachers smile dropped. "Jinx, it is respectful to reply to a teacher." His eyes bored through me like the bullets of a gun. I looked around and locked eyes with Dream. She stood up. "Mr..." She paused. "My name is Mr. Frin." He replied shortly. Dream nodded. "Mr. Frin, Jinx here, well, she really dosen't like talking, and she dosen't know how to talk in english." Dream smiled at him. Mr. Frin turned to me. "Is this true?" He asked. I nodded.
Flame walked in and he did the same thing. "Mr. Frin? Flame and Jinx are cousins, and they moved here together, so Flame dosen't know how to speak english either." Dream looked at him sweetly. Helooked at Flame. "How do you know so much about them?" Mr. Frin inquired. He looked at Dream. She was speechless. "Well, um, we have been friends for a long time and I know that they were going to move here." She gulped. I held my breath. "Fine." He said. The bell rang, and class began. The day was long, and I got called on multiple times.
When we got to lunch, Mara entered. "Hey, I came here to eat my lunch. Sorry about your launguages. I don't want to hurt you." She covered her mouth. Everyone stared at her. "What?" Dream said. Flame started to whisper in Firess. Dream looked around and shook her head. "Sit down Mara." Dream said. Mara slowly started to back up. "I-I-I can't do that Dream." She started running. Flame stood up. I saw his hand twist and turn. Fire surrounded her and trapped Mara right where she was standing. The people near her screamed and ran a clear distince from the fire. The flames ingulfed her and then they dissapeared. Everyone gasped. Mara was not standing there anymore.
"Transport fire." Flame whispered. His eyes went wide. "I can speak again!" He rubbed his jaw. Dream turned to me. I opened my moth but Windish only came out. I frowned. Ugh. Magic sucks. Flame started out of the cafitiria and I quickly followed. We were speedwalking toward the door. "Someone call the police!" Some one shouted. The lunch lady grabbed her phone and dialed 911. She talked for a minute, and then she hung up. I started to jog, but Flame stopped me. "We can't seem suspisious to everyone. We have to calmly leave the cafitiria so no one suspects anything." He looked ahead and strode out of the large room. I followed.
