Flame raced across the feild, and shouted to the flames in Firess. "What are you doing! Come down and do not destroy the school!" "There is a traitor in here. One that does not belong." They hissed back at him. "Bring him out here and don't destroy the school!" He countered. "We cannot make humans move, but we can block her path." The flames did not speak again. Flame waited. "We cannot move her. She weilds magic. She must burn. As well as the school." They hissed at Flame with a raspy voice. The flames did not move, nor did they speak. Flame looked away just in time to see a hooded figure running towards a shiny ball in the middle of the earth. He didn't have time to chase him. Flame decided on one thing that very moment. He flung open the doors, and ran headfirst into the thick smoke.
Smoke had never bothered Flame before. He could breath it in and it never affected him. Thats one of the perks of being able to harness fire. He managed to get to the gym room, where a girl was doing her best to stay out of the flames way. She used the ground to stop the flames from getting any closer. The ground was tattered and torn where she had made it rise up. When she moved her hands, rocks shot up out of the ground to stop the fire from coming any closer. She had green hair and bright green eyes. Flame jumped down and started calmly walking toward her. She looked at him horrified. "Get out! You'll be burnt!" She yelled. Flame smiled and walked strait through the fire. She gaped at him. He waved his hands and the fire around her died down until it was nothing. The raging fire above took some time but he managed to put that out too.
"What? What are you? Who are you?" She asked. "Well, since I know who you are, then you should know who I am. But, if I must, then I will." Flame laughed to himself. He loved messing with newbies. "I'm Flame. Master of fire." He let fire circle his hands as she gazed at them in amazement. A strong wind cricled down and Jinx appeared. "Flame!" She shouted. She ran over and hugged him. He smiled. She turned toward the girl. "Hey. The name is Jinx. Master of wind." She made a little tornado in her hand. Dream entered after Jinx. She saw the girl and smiled. "Hey! I'm Dream! Master of Dream's!" She just smiled. "Well, I'm Mara. Master of earth." The girl said. She smashed her fists together and rocks came out of the ground. They all smiled. "So. Flame? Do you want to explain all of this to us? Did you anger the flames again? I told you to be nice." Dream scolded. Flame blushed. "No, I didn't anger the flames. They wern't mine. They were dark magic."
When the school was cleared and everyone was sent home, Flame called Dream and I and said that Mara was at his house. They all sat on his back porch and talked. "Mara, where did you come from?" Dream asked. "Well, I had just moved here because my mom didn't want people to know what I was and what I could do. I went to the school for an interview and then the fire started." Flame looked thoughtful. "When I talked to the flames-" Mara interupted. "You speak to your element too?" Mara looked surprised. "Ya, we all do." I said. "Oh." Mara calmed down. "Well, when I was talking to the flames, they said that there was a traitor in there that didn't belong." Flame looked at Mara. "Why would they say that?" Everyone lokked at Mara. She blushed and looked away. "Well, you see, I ran away from home and police are chasing me."
