Lesson Nine: Final Exam Study Guide

Chapter 10

This lesson is not included in the final exam. This is just some interesting information from this lesson.

Runic spellcasting is learned in Ancient Runes. Runic spellcasting are essentially symbols that you use to intensify spells on an object. When using runic symbols, it enhances the magic that is put upon the object. It stabilizes the object when additional charms & spells are used on an object. The Perthro rune is used to enhance luck, where many Quidditch players may try to sneak a rune on their flying broomstick to increase the team's luck in winning the match. However, this practice is considered illegal, since it is a way of cheating the game. The Specialis Revelio Charm is used before Quidditch games, as it can reveal any runes placed upon one's broomstick to make sure that no one tries to cheat.
