Chapter 1
The grindylow is a sentient beast native to Great Britain and Ireland. This is an XX creature also known as a water demon. The grindylow is aggressive towards witches, wizards, and muggles. They can not be tamed by humans. Merpeople are the only creatures ever known to tame a grindylow. They often keep them as pets.
Appearance
Skin Color- Green (pale, sickly)
Eye Color- White or yellow
Hair color- None
Height- The average adult is less than 5 feet tall.
Distinctive Qualities- Long fingers, horns, green teeth, aggressive nature, good swimmer.

This jinx shoots a stream of boiling hot water while under water. If you get caught by a grindylow, this spell is your best option of escape. Their fragile fingers are very strong despite their appearance.
Do not let a grindylow get its hands around your throat. Grindylows strangle their prey and to allow it to get its hands around your throat is a death sentence.
