There was once a big patch of something surrounded by a big black lake,

Across the lake and land there was a group of stunningly smart and rightful witches and wizards, they were known as: Godric Griffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Helga Hufflepuff and Rowena Ravenclaw. the four got together and created the most wonderful school, it is known as Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They used a hat, now known as the Sorting Hat, and enchanted it to sort throught young witches and wizards minds to see what house they belonged in. Griffindor took the brave and heroic, Slytherin the sly and cunning, Ravenclaw took and smart and witty and Hufflepuff took the rest. This would be surprising but, there was no finer pair of friends than Griffindor and Slytherin or perhaps Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. One day Slytherin decided to build a Chamber of Secrets, a little time after me built it Slytherin left his three friends at the school and headed off into the rest of the world.
