The return
Chapter 1
It had been a few months since I shifted and I couldn’t figure out how to do it again. I kept trying and trying, but nothing happened. I thought it would be so much easier now that I had already done it. I even learned more about it, but I guess your knowledge can only go so far. I did know that I couldn’t lose my motivation because then it really wouldn’t work. It was just so hard seeing other people who have shifted so many times and have so many cool stories. I know that I might be acting a little dramatic, but sometimes I cry of sadness. I miss my friends, my boyfriend, and my family. It just made me realise how lucky I was to have even shifted in the first place. I have some great memories, but I missed Fred’s touch, my friend’s presence, and my family’s voice. My determination wasn’t gone yet. I spent all day every day trying to figure out different ways to shift. I was still unsuccessful everytime, and it was hard every morning when I woke up in the same place. Then one night I decided to try the Alice and Wonderland method. It had worked for a lot of people so it made me hopeful. So I tried it and I had never been so dizzy and tingly at the same time. I tried not to lose my focus and just go to sleep. And finally I was there, at the place I missed with the people I loved. And when I tell you I have never ran so fast, but I had to see my twin Neville. The second I saw him I literally tackled him because I was so excited. “Geese sis I just saw you last night.” I then remember that time freezes when I leave my DR and what was months for me was just hours for them. “I just missed you,” I shouted. Then right after I ran to go find Fred’s dorm. I could not wait to see his beautiful smile and feel his touch. I then found him in the common room. Now this time I really did tackle somebody because he fell to the ground, but it was so funny we were both dying of laughter. “Geese love, I know I’m handsome but you’ve never hugged me like that before, or should I say tackled,” he said as he was helping me up. “Oh shush, I was just so excited to see you,” I said. “You wanna go get some breakfast with me and George and we can talk about whatever that was,” he asked. “I would love to,” I said while laughing.
