"Alrigh'," said Hagrid. "We have a new studen'."

I looked up as a tall, dark-haired boy walked in. 

"My name is George Martigan," he said. He looked at me with his leafy-green eyes.

I felt a weird feeling I haven't felt before.

I realized it.

I was in love.

”Wait a minute, Luna,” I told myself. “You can’t like someone you just met. You don’t even know him!”

"Hi Luna," said Ginny, approaching me. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." I replied. 

"Hello," said Martigan, walking over. "Do you want to be friends?"

"Sure," I said, hardly daring to believe it.
