Family Background

Parents: Salvator and Rosemary Ruth Tudor

Parents Background: Salvator Tudor is a wizard descended from an illegitimate child of Edmund Tudor. (This occurred before Edmund married a woman of royal blood). Salvator Tudor is an Auror, with a particular aptitude for healing and the healing arts. His encouragement inspired her to get into the field of Herbology. Rosemary Ruth Tudor works in the field of home decorating. Rosemary always taught her the importance of getting to know and appreciate the uniqueness of every individual, in order to serve them best in their lives. They are a very Catholic family, and closely tied to the Order of St. Benedict.

Relationship with Parents: Her mother and father were an amazing example of love to her. Seeing their love for each other as Lily grew up inspired her, And they always made time for her and to make sure she felt loved. Sometimes she felt a lot of pressure from them to always do good, and struggled with that a bit as a teenage, but eventually she came to terms with the fact that they only wanted the best for her and that was why they had such high expectations.

Relationship with Siblings: Growing up she had always looked up to Edwin, although Geoffrey and her are the closest now. Violet and her had a bit of competition being the only girls, though they really tried to hide that from their parents. They are still working on their relationship. Ignatius is such a solemn fellow. He is a really nice guy and she loves him, but growing up she sometimes felt like he was too old for me to play with even though he looked after her a lot. They got to spend lots of time together as a family, so sometimes she think she doesn't appreciate how close they all are.

Family Wealth: Wealthy

Family Struggles: When Lily was nine, Edwin tried to run away instead of going to Hogwarts. A friend of the family who was already at Hogwarts didn't treat Edwin well, and her brother was very afraid of attending school with the family friend.

Ignatius got very very sick when she was ten, and everyone was scared that he would die.

Lily’s uncle (mother's side) was an alcoholic, and growing up she watched how much his substance abuse hurt the family. Thankfully, he managed to sober up, but eight years afterwards he died.

Planned child: Her parents were open to having as many kids as God would give them. There would be more of them if Geoffrey hadn't damaged their mother's womb when she gave birth to him.

Educational Background

Place of Study: Hogwarts (1993-2000); Merlin's Universal Academy (2000-2003)

Likes: She loved collecting chocolate frog cards, birds and dogs and some cats (even though she is allergic, their fur is so soft). She liked most green things, except mint.

Dislikes: Lily disliked tomatoes, beans, and parsnips.

She disliked the letter “g” because my parents made her learn to handwriting and she could never get the g correct

She disliked any spider that was inside the house. Outside was fine, inside was not.

Worst Prank: At school, she was super mad at one of her professors once, so she made him think he lost everybody's major essay by putting a bunch of scrolls on his desk and hiding the real essays.

Childhood Best Friend: She never really had a best friend growing up. She had lots of friends, but when she wanted to talk about deep moments and thoughts, she usually turned to her brother, Edwin.

Behaviour in School: She was a nerd! Lily loved to learn about anything and everything that she wasn't taking a class on. In first and second year, she read up on elective subjects, and by the time she reached third year, she was more interested in trying to learn languages than focus on the class material. Somehow, her grades never suffered. She doesn't think she could have bore the shame of getting a low mark... She is not that great at humility yet.

Relationships

First Relationship: She has always been very happy by herself. She’s met a couple really nice men, but never felt the desire to spend the rest of her life with one. Maybe she'll meet someone eventually, but for now, she is devoted to all her friends and being there for anyone who needs her. Also, she has her family to support her whenever she is struggling.

Career

Job before becoming a Professor in Hogwarts: St. Munglo's Healer in Training and then Researcher for St. Munglo's

How he/she became a Professor: Lily was doing a research project at Hogwarts with Neville Longbottom when she was asked to take on the lower years of teaching. Eventually, Neville realized he wanted to do more research and she realized that she wanted to do more teaching, so she took on the post of Herbology professor.

Why your course: Actually, it was kind of an accident that she got into Herbology. Her father encouraged her to learn about healing, but she was always interested in protective spells and likewise magic. When she started as a Healer, she knew it wasn't for her so she went into research, and saw a world of opportunity in plants.
