Family Background

Parents: Jefferson James Anne and Bridget Marie Anne-Humphrey

Parents Background: Jefferson and Bridget met while working in the Ministry. Jefferson went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a Slytherin, whereas Bridget went to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Both were working in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures in the Being Division, under the Werewolf Support Services office. Werewolves fascinate Jefferson, because his father was killed by a werewolf bite right after Jefferson was born. Bridget was interning in the office, right after her graduation from Beauxbatons, while Jefferson had been working in the office for two years, beginning the job right after his Hogwarts days.

Jefferson and Bridget started seeing each other after Bridget finished her internship six months later. After two years, they were wed, and a year into their marriage they had Anne. After having Anne, Jefferson retired from the Ministry, and the family bought property in Devon. Jefferson purchased ten Crups, and started breeding them on a large scale. He soon became known as one of England’s best Crup breeders. For a short while the family bred Fire Crabs, but when Anne got burned while trying to study the shell, Bridget told Jefferson it was time for them to go.

Relationship with Parents: Being an only child, she had a great relationship with her parents. They traveled through Europe during her school breaks, and they let her decide where to attend school, since she had a parent that went to Beauxbatons and a parent that went to Hogwarts.

There was an unspoken trust with her parents. She was given free range of their property, and it was unspoken that she be home by sundown. She had a very trusting relationship with her parents, and they have understood and supported all of her decisions.

Family Wealth: Wealthy

Family Struggles: Her parents struggled to spend their money. Being a top Crup breeder, they had plenty of disposable income. That is part of why they traveled every summer. It is also why her parents were so willing to do things for others. They always donated food to the Muggle shelters in Devon, even though they were Purebloods.

Planned child: She was a pleasant surprise. While her parents hadn't decided on when to have kids, they were happy that she came along.

Place of Study: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (2002-2009)

Likes: She enjoyed anything involving potatoes, and her favorite dessert is cobbler.

Dislikes: She hates tomatoes and beans.

Childhood Best Friend: Her childhood best friend and her actually ended up dating. They had been friends since her first, his second years at Hogwarts. She still hears from him on occasion, but she don't respond to the letters.

They met when she got lost on her way to the Greenhouses. How she got lost, she doesn't know, but she ended up in the Forest, thinking it was there. He saw her go in, according to him, and followed her. He was on his way back from Herbology. They were friends ever since.

Worst Prank: She didn't tell her parents where she had accepted invitation to attend school, if you can consider that a prank. She stayed under the radar, so, she really wasn't a prankster.

Behaviour in School: She was the crowd hopper. She got along well with most people, but was never in one group in particularly.

First Relationship: It was her childhood friend from Hogwarts. It was during her sixth year, his seventh year. It ended at the end of her seventh year, because both wanted different things.

Career

Job before becoming a Professor in Hogwarts: She worked in the DRCMC, for the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures.

When graduated from Hogwarts: 2009

How he/she became a Professor: Then HM Balog sent her a letter while she was in Siberia. He said they had an opening for CoMC Professor, and that she had been recommended.

Why this course: She wanted a break from illegal dragon breeder hunting. She wanted to teach others what she had learned in her studies and trips.
