What It’s Like As A Muggle-born IN PROGRESS
Valerie: I don’t think that magic is real. I’m here at Hogwarts and I still don’t. It’s all a dream: I’m making good grades and I’m popular. Brett: This is awesome! I would have never dreamed in a thousand years that I’m a wizard, but I guess it’s true! Kenzie: This is new, exciting, but also a bit scary. I’m used to my life being dance, but this…? Nick: This is one elaborate prank. Brynn: Those stupid Mudbloods. They should never have gotten to come here; half of them think it’s fake!

The Sorting Ceremony- Valerie
Chapter 1
Hogwarts. I'm at the sorting ceremony and I still don't think it's real. They call my name. A strange hat is placed on my head. After a few moments, I hear 'HUFFLEPUFF' and I'm whisked away to a strange table.
I had met four people on the train. Curious Brett, nervous Kenzie, sarcastic Nick, and silent, eye-rolling Brynn.
Brett was sorted into Hufflepuff with me. Kenzie was put in Ravenclaw. Nick was a Gryffindor, and surprise, surprise, Brynn was a Slytherin. After playing sticks with Brett for awhile, we were called to our dorms.
The Hufflepuff common room, which was past the kitchens, was strange. It was decked out yellow and navy.
