This pet will need no more care than any other pet of its kind.
This Bewitchment should not affect you as the owner unless you are deliberately trying to hide your pet's identity.
If you are, you can cast a Colour Change Charm (Colovaria) which will neutralize the Bewitchment and keep the pet's eyes a colorless black for Twenty-four Hours.
