Definitions: 

Alchemy - a branch of magic that assists the witch or wizard in transmuting base metals into noble metals

Base Metals - a type of element that can corrode when oxygen is present 

Noble Metals - difficult to find and are highly resistant to corrosion. They are also very expensive.

Elements - a chemical substance composed of a single atom

Corrosion- deteriorating slowly by chemical action 

The Four Aspects - A term used to regard the classical elements which are fire, water, earth and air. These aspects correspond with solids, liquids, gas and plasma

Seven Planetary Aspects - the seven classical planets. not only embodies the physical planets but also the spiritual presence found in each and every characteristic of the elements. 

The Three Primes - these are what connects us to the rest of the universe
