Emily gasped in amazment as she entered the huge Great Hall. Students filled in sounding very happy and chattered away merrily as they found there seats. Emily, However, could not speak. The pretty hall had amazed her very much and felt imensly happy to go to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardary. Professor Maconagall led the new first years to the sorting hat, then pulled out a list of students. She said " Narcissa Malfoy!" and a girl with a pathetic smile walked elegantly to the stool. They put the hat on and it immidetly said "Slytherin!" So off she went to the Slytherin table. Her brother, Scorpious congratulated her in a proffesional manner. Next went Helena Morris and was sorted inrto Hufflepuff. Then " Emily Millisent!" Emily shook as she stumbled to the stool searching for Kate to give her a smile. Kate did which made Emily braver. She put the hat on and sat waiting. For Emily, it seemed like houres but eventually it said " Hufflepuff!" So there Emily went, nearly running to her table, full of Hufflepuffs.

It was very pleasent to sit down and enjoy the marvellous food that was served in beautiful dishes. Emily was sitting next to a girl called Helena. She was practically staring at her until she recieved a pat on the back. She swang around and saw Kate smiling " Well done Emily! Congrats for bieng sorted into Hufflepuff!" She said happily and went to talk to Margo who spilled her orange juice. Then Grace and Maria congratulated her too. So, full of joy she went to bed.
