The Rebellion

Kids from all over the country are accepted in schools, whether it's a gifted students school, or in this case, a spy and smuggling school. Not many kids are accepted into Spy or Smuggling school, and very few are accepted into a school with both, but with people watching all around, some kids are lucky enough to be chosen. In our story, we join Estella (Grace, with her name change), Stanley (Samuel), and Josephine (Alliyah) to discover, and uncover the past of their school, HBSS (Harkin Brooke Smuggling and Spy). Along with that, they find secrets no one would have ever thought to look for, and they find some secrets uncovering their pasts… They have to keep secrets in order to stay safe, and for some of them, that's hard. When they find out things about each other, they question their friendship, and the school they were placed into. They make enemies and allies. They start rebellions that were never meant to be started, and they share things about the schools that were never meant to be shared….

Chapter 4

I know, stupid of me, but I walk towards it, “I swear to god if you’re some monster freak I will- Cadance?” Cadance was Tash’s third boyfriend, but she cheated on him. What is he doing here, though is what I don’t understand? “Hi.” He muttered, brushing sand out of his spiky brunette hair, and off his tan khaki shorts. “If you’re here about Tash, I couldn’t help you, I’ve escaped her,” I noted, still watching him in a queer way. I remember in the 4th grade I had this massive crush on him, “Cadance do you like me? Like really like me?” I had a blueish tint to my hair then, I had dyed it when I was at Tash’s house and sent my dad ballistic. “Stellie, I like Natasha, not you.” I was heartbroken, and I think he realized it but was too into Tash to do anything. “Hello? Hello???” I blink out of my trance and look back at him. “Sorry, what?” He sighed, “What are you doing here?” He asked, glancing around briefly. “I told you, I was with Ta- Natasha moments ago. Her name is Leigha Hall now.” I tell him, a shiver going up my spine as he turns away, “What are you doing?” He whimpers slightly and turns back towards me, and I let out a gasp. There’s a bullet hole in his stomach, the red blood spreading, and he gasps and makes choking noises. “Oh my god, Cadance.? Who did this?” I asked walking towards him but he pushes me away, “Run, run for your life, and don’t stop until you get inside your school’s property, You’re not safe.” He says, and I see another red spot appear higher on his chest. I whimper and look at him, “I’m sorry.” And I begin to run, I don’t stop until I see my school’s gate, and I slow down to a jog. I have to climb over the gates because they’re locked to students under age 17. I run as fast as I can to the main building and into the Great Hall. Everybody turns their head as I run in, panting heavily. “Grace!” I see Ally, and Sam in the crowd, and I take a step towards them but a guard stops me. “You’ll have to be taken to the interrogation room. You’ve been with SSA, some things need to be exchanged.” He says and grabs my upper arm, I make no move to escape and I follow him, looking ridiculous in my long t-shirt and shorts. The floor is warm on my bare feet, and I make sure that my feet appreciate it before we step into the interrogation room that has floors as cold as ice. I’m pushed into a metal chair and my hands are tied behind my back. That’s not usual and it’s scaring me. “Why are you tying my hands? I thought this was to exchange the words I had at SSA?” I say, my eyebrows furrowing. The guard laughs and takes off his mask, revealing the face of one of the SSA guards I saw when I tried to escape. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” I say, going limp and groaning. “What do you want?” He smirks, “You have something I have, sweetheart. I’d like it back.” I raise an eyebrow, not knowing what he means, “What do you mean..?” I ask, and he chuckles. “Give me your arm.” He says and I hesitate before showing him my left arm, “In your wrist, there is a small metal capsule that your mother placed in there but the truth is it’s mine, and your mother had no right to put it in there.” I start to laugh, I’m sorry but does he realize how insane he sounds? “What?” I say between giggles and he stares at me like I’m crazy. “Why are you laughing, girl?” He askes and grabs my shoulder with a grip so tight my giggles turn into whimpers of pain, “Stop it!” I yelp, and he lets go, “Can’t handle pain now, can we, sweetheart? Well unfortunately this is going to hurt. He bends down, and pulls out a gleaming silver knife, with razor-sharp teeth. He puts it against my wrist, “No, no, no, please, no!” I yelp, trying to squirm but he holds me down. He is leaning over me, his feet stepping on a mine, and his elbow on my opposite wrist. I yelp and scream, trying to wiggle out of his grip. He grins and stabs into my wrist. “No!” I scream and continue kicking. “Stop it you little-” “Drop the weapon.” Sam walks in, and the man looks up. “You think a little boy like you is going to stop me?” He asked, chuckling. The blood seeps from my arm, and I’m still fighting. “Yes, I do.” Sam pulls out a large gun and I gasp. “Sam-” I say, and he glares at me. I shut up and go limp, giving up. Sam points the gun at the man and the man holds up his knife.
