Lesson Six: The Minor Arcana Study Guide
Chapter 7
The Minor Arcana consists of fifty-six cards. They are grouped into four suits. They are everyday situations & sometimes short-lived. Basically, they fix situations pretty fast.
Wands & Pentacles
The wand suit represents our actions, & are ususally the spark of our energy. It may show that we will be tested. The fire signs are Aries, Leo, & Sagittarius. The pentacle suit represents money & wealth. The pentacle suit shows us that we might be offered money or show how selfish you may be with your wealth. This suit alone has fourteen cards. The earth signs are Taurus, Virgo, & Capricorn.
Cups & Swords
The cup suit represents emotion. Your emotions usually come from the heart. The cup suit shows how in tune you are with your feelings. The water signs are Cancer, Scorpio, & Pisces. The sword suit represents logic. Cups & swords don't mix well, as they are opposite of each other. The sword suit are all about facts. It shows how one can be prepared for a situation by seeking the facts. The air signs are Gemini, Libra, & Aquarius.
