Because the wind is softer than these lips tired of screaming.

I decided to cry in secret, to drown in my thoughts and smile for the rest rather than look at you every day and say "I love you."

I decided to draw you in my sketches

And smile at you in them.

Because out of these it would be wrong.

I decided to dream you and live for a while,

And then wake up and keep on waiting.

I decided to look at you and you passed me by.

I decided to smile at you and you kept ignoring me.

I decided to think about you and I didn't even pass through your mind.

I decided to greet you and you didn't even give me your hand.

I decided to help you without expecting anything in return. Not even a thank you or a hug.

I decided to get my hopes up and you broke me into pieces.

Until I decided to lie down and keep dreaming with your arms calming my tears.

Because no matter how hard I try, I'm not over you. And as much as I don't want to, I'm still waiting for you.
