Chapter 3 - Risu
Chapter 3
Still nothing. Risu sighed in desperation when his best friend, Nokuma, didn't answer his chats. Risu woke up early that morning to take care of Sujin, but turns out that Sujin took care of Risu. Risu got his favorite meal for breakfast, a bowl of ramen, with extra spice and peppers, just how he liked his ramen to be. His clothes were freshly ironed and folded to perfection. He suspected his mom was behind it, but then he remembered that she flew to her branch in Hawaii after she picked up the milk from his house. He searched for Sujin and found a note in front of the dog: "I AM from Soverai, you utterly stupid dolt. I also know your future crush and your future itself. Peace out, Comrade Risu." Risu was stunned at how the dog he picked up last night suddenly knew how to write in human language. He didn't question it, though. He learnt not to question things since his father met a stranger with hair that changed colors every blink of an eye. Getiing off track again, I see. Well, Risu heard the bell ring, so he decided to go to his Russian class before he was marked late. He went inside the familiar-smelling classroom, and to his surprise, he saw Nokuma sitting beside his seat, his hands in his face. Risu went up to him and asked him, "Why the fuck did you not answer my texts? Also, why are you looking like a complete crybaby right now? You never cry unless there's a very valid reason." Nokuma replied, "I don't have my phone, it's lost and I tried searching before class started, but I didn't find it. Crying is the next best thing I can do instead of searching for a whole week." Risu was confused at how his best friend suddenly lost his phone, as Nokuma was known for talking with his father in the Army when he had the time to. But before he could ask Nokuma on how he could have possibly lost his phone, the teacher came in with their quizzes in her arms, and Risu decided to shut up quickly before the teacher would start to punish him for speaking in class.
