It was a rainy Tuesday afternoon, and Risu had to go on an errand for his mother's bakery after school. The bell finally rang, the sound as clear as glass, despite the heavy rain that was pouring down on the streets. Risu ran to the parking lot, where he tripped over a black dog. He felt worried for the dog, as the rain was about to flood the streets and the dog appeared to be abandoned by their owner. He decided to bring the dog home with him, after he finished his errand. So he put the dog in the backseat, turned on the speaker, and drove off towards the market to buy some milk for his mom's bakery. Soon, he arrived at home with the dog, and went back in the car to take the dog out. Ater he ate dinner, Risu checked the dog and he was surprised to see a nametag on the dog, as he didn't see one on the dog before. The nametag read: Sujin Atsugo, Comrade of Soverai. Risu didn't understand why the dog had a last name, but he did know that Soverai was a legendary kingdom from ancient times . Legends were told that it was the most thriving civilization, even more than the modern times, when it suddenly disappeared from the map. Risu's father was an explorer who also disappeared on his last expedition to search for Soverai, so Risu learnt as much as he could about the ancient kingdom. People in the kingdom were called "Comrades", even the King. Risu was surprised at how Sujin had a nametag that said, "Comrade", but he didn't argue. He got ready for bed, and at the exact time 9:30, he fell asleep as easily as a skater who has done 10 routines in a row. His dreams were all about Japan and how it would become like Soverai in the future, with Risu as the King alongside his partner... which he had not seen in his dream.
