This is my first diary entry ever. I have decided that I was going to keep track of everything that happens to me. I am going to write it all down here. I have a challenge with Amaura that whoever can write in their diary the longest without forgetting about it, will win. The loser has to buy the winner something from the store of their choice in Diagon Alley. I think I'm going to win. She is new to this. I gave her this journal for our three-year anniversary of being best friends. 

I should tell you about myself so here we go. My name is Avana Lupin and I am 13 years old. I am the daughter of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks. I was born a girl but go by they/she. I have been friends with the Weasly's my entire life. I have also become friends with Harry Potter. I go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I have a secret. I have a crush on Ginny Weasley. MAURA'S SISTER! I don't know what to do. I'm really worried about saying something. Maura told me that Ginny slept with Hermione. She also told me that Hermione had told Ginny that she wasn't going to date her. 

I don't know if I want to come out to Maura about it. I'm bisexual so that's one thing but also to come out as having a crush on her sister. She would never forgive me. She has a crush on Draco I think. Draco is like a brother to me and I'm protective of him. He Is my uncle and I don't know if I find that unsettling or not, but either way, we are still really close. 

I wish I could stay and write, but I have to go. Father Is taking me to go get my books for the new school year. I also forgot to say that my father is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts. More on that when I get back. Bye!
