It had been 2 weeks since the battle where Newts sister died, my leg was healing nicely my finger was still gone but fine we only had 4 people left of our group James, Newt, Cassandra, and me. Yesterday evening we had been attacked by the 3 remaining people of group green we killed 2 of them and the other decided she would joine the blacks. Emma was a crazy girl she liked being by herself or with a small amount of people that's why she abandoned her group until they were down to 10ish people. With the news she brought on what teams were gone there was purple, brown, turquoise, and neon yellow left to kill and maybe the neon pinks and dark greys everyone else was fewer than 5 people and lots of them were now gone.  
"My group did find something before they all died of starvation" most of her group had there packs stolen so they didn't have much food. 
"What did you guys find?" I asked eagerly    
"It's this note" she said pulling out a small note      
"Spin you read it" Newt whispered to me    
"I'll read it" I volentered Emma gave the note to me and instantly I realized there was something hidden inside the paper but I ignored it and read     
"I am a spy amongst the kidnappers and the people you think are good are bad and the people you think are bad are good, they lie. They were the one who kidnapped you give it to your leader. I hope you will all survive but it is very unlickly..... Emma here's a paper and pen write the letter down I need to rip the letter open there's something hidden inside! 
"Wait what there's something inside?"   
"Inside what do you mean?"  
"Yah sure Spensa" Emma said, everyone went silent when I ripped the letter open there inside was a necklace with a snake wrapped around a jewel it was pretty   
"So why a snake?" I asked    
"Who knows" said James     
"Because snakes are awsome" said Cassandra    
"Well snakes are dangerous maybe it's because snakes are very dangerous that's why they put it on there logo" Emma said    
"Maybe the snake spells something?" Asked Cassandra   
"No I can't see it curving around a jewo be spelling" I said.     

"Now who will be the leader?" I asked jumping to the leader part    
"Hmmm Who will be the leader?" Cassandra said like she just realized we have to figure that out.     
"Isn't it obvious?" Newt said    
"It completely obvious" James said and then both boys (James and Newt) said at the same time "It's obviously Spin" and " It's obviously me" I could tell Newt was the one voting me and James was the one voting himself we all laughed   
"Cassandra what do you think?" I asked      
"Well.... I I think it should be spensa" 
"I also think it should be spensa" said James finally agreeing with Newt that I am the right person     
"What about you Em what do you think?" Emma looked shocked    
"Why would you want me to vote for blacks leader? If you remember I'm part of the greens"      
"Your a black now" I said she smiled    
"You spensa I think you should be the leader" and so it was I was now the leader whatever that meant.

"Hey leader Spensa I was thinking maybe we could have...." I cut Emma off  "code names or something?" I said finishing her sentence she smiled an nodded her head     
"Ok but I think I'll stay Spensa"    
"I'll be..... Hurl!"   
"Nice!"   
we soon told every one else    
"I'm going to be Jax"said James 
"I think I'll stay Newt" Newt said 
"Hmm I'll be Cassandra"Cassandra said we all laughed   
"Cassandra you can make up a new name for people to call you" she smiled   
"Oh... Casandra then it has one S instead of two"   
"Ok ok so your Jax your still Newt your Casandra with 1 s and your hurl, did I get that right?" There was a couple of yeses and yeps.   
"What's yours?" Newt asked       
"Mines the same as before "I'm Spensa and Newt calls me Spin". Soon we all decided to go to sleep. In the night I heard yelling swords clashing into other swords my leg hurt terribly but I didn't know why soon I fell asleep.

when I woke up I heard the yelling and swords and screaming and someone screaming in pain then that person silent it was terrible and they were moving closer to us! 
"EVERYONE GET UP GET UP" I almost screamed "GET UP HURRY NARROE BATTLE BATTLE!" everyone got up when I said battle we grabbed our bags put them on our shoulder hand our weapon in one hand and ran we ran fast away from the battle then we heard it "VICTORY VICTORY FOR THE NEON YELLOWS WE DEFEATED THE BROWNS VICTORY!" soon they stopped then I heard running, running toward us! "RUN ESCAPE NOW!" I yelled as I saw the bright colours of Neon Yellow soldiers there were at least 30 people left of that group     
"Oh only a little tiny girl holding her dagger and has a little leg injury... aaaw poor little girl" they were pretending I knew it but I also knew I was much older than they thoguht I was probably 15 but I looked 10 because I was short I glared at them "ooh the little 7 year old has a dagger! Hello little girl girls under the age of 10 army aloud weapons especially daggers so give it here" this was pathetic "well I don't have to drop my weapon because I'm over the age of 10 so you all drop your weapons or I'll bring out my warriors!" They laughed "I have lots of warriors probably double your warriors and we haven't killed someone for at least a couple days. We want to kill" they all started talking    
"what should we do?"    
"Do we leave?"   
"Should we see the enemy's army?"   
"Let's flee we already won a battle today are soldiers need rest not battle"    
"We can't win this one not even with the power come on let's go"   
they finished there discussion there leader stepped forward "FINE WELL LEAVE BUT TOMORROW I WILL DESTROY YOU WHEN MY WARRIORS ARE DONE RESTING!" she screamed at me.

once they left everyone came back "that was impressive Spin" Newt said "yah no kidding" said Jax inthusiastically   
"That was good you made them think you had more people when you didn't!" Casandra said 
"Let's go, we need to get away from here there coming back tomorrow" I said. And so we walked and walked but soon we couldn't walk any more so we collapsed onto the ground and fell asleep.
