I woke up my back hurt a lot I couldn't remember anything well that wasn't true I could remember lots of stuff just not anything about me I could remember land marks and parks and restraints and tastes and everything like that but not things like where I went when I was bored or who my friends and family were. I was in a pitch black room with no lights there were probably lots on kids here because there was lots and lots of chatting did all of them not remember anything Or was I the only one with no memory? "OW" I almost yelled as someone stumbled over me "oops sorry I didn't see you there" it was a boy "that's fine d-do you remember anything?" I tried to look at the boy and see what he looked like but I still couldn't "no I don't remember anything it's so weird I mean I can remember land mark and everything but a personal life it's like I wa just watching the time go by not living a life at all!" I could tell the boy was a talker "yah same here, there's no better way to describe it" I smiled at the boy but then realized he couldn't see me "oh and im smiling right now by the way" he laughed at that well sort of more like a quiet chuckle "im smiling too" he said. then a voice from a speaker said "KIDS I MANAGED TO SAVE YOU FROM YOUR KIDNAPPERS BUT I COULD NOT STOP THE BRAIN SWEEPING I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOUR NAMES ARE OR WHO YOUR FAMILIES ARE BUT WE WILL TRY OUR HARDEST TO FIND THEM” then almost as quick as it had came it was gone "what was that?" I asked the boy but the boy didn't hear me because at that moment he yell "HEY WHOEVER YOU ARE CAN YOU PLEASE LET US SEE?" A couple kids yelled "YAH LET US SEE!" and some others just laughed or said "ITS NOT GONNA WORK!" but it did work the lights turned on and I was pretty much blinded by the light I managed to open my eyes and saw a room with black walls black floor black ceiling and kids everywhere there had to be at least 1,000 kids maybe more! I saw a boy in front of me that was probably the boy I was talking to when the lights are off he was just staring at me as if I were crazy! "Hey what is it?" I asked him "y-your so pretty" he stammered "ummm thanks what exactly do I look like?" He smiled "well you have brown hair, bright bright blue eyes, smooth face, umm what else do you want to know or can you tell me what I look like?" I remembered the color green and brown so I could picture myself "you have blond hair, look about 13-14 years old,bright  green eyes, and lots of freckles" He smiled and said "thanks" and walked away. About half an hour later the speaker went on again "KIDS IT IS TIME FOR THE GAME! LET ME EXPLAIN THE RULE OF THE GAME...     1. Try to stay alive!

"wait is that the only rule?" Someone asked.  
"Huh do you actually die?" Someone else asked.  
"I will win!" Yelled someone else.  
I just stood there horror struck try to stay alive that was the one rule?    
"Hey what's the stupid game called?" Someone yelled and I realized it was the first boy I had talked to. 
The speaker turned on "get into the pair of clothes that has dropped in front of you then you will get to ask your questions when you meet me in person". I looked down and saw some clothes they were ripped tight jeans, a black t-shirt, and a black sweat shirt I noticed some kids having orange, yellow, blue, purple, green, white t- shirts and sweaters. The walls suddenly opened and then lights went out! "Follow me" said a voice someone had come through the doors! We all followed soon we sat around what felt to be a table then the lights turned on and we were at a table all of the kids sorted into different coloured clothes. "Welcome" said a man at the head of the table "you may ask your questions now. 
"What's the game called?" I realized it was the boy. 
"Well let's see we should name you all that would be an excellent idea thank you James" I was shocked he didn't even answer the question! He started pointing to people and claiming out names "Hazel, Jason, Anne, Anna, Lucy, Mia, Sam, Bob, jack, Lily" then he pointed at me and said "Spensa" everyone laughed at my new name but he just continued calling names so soon everyone was silent "Newt, Katie, Kate, Joy, Peter, John, Trina, Thomas, Deedee" we all laughed at the poor girl named Deedee. Soon it was all finished "ok anymore questions?" James (the first boy I met) raised his hand "what is the name of the game you talked about?" He said it slowly so that the man should understand him "oooh the game yes yes the game well the game is simply called The Death Game!" We all looked at him "what do we do in the game?" Said a kid I had already forgotten everyone's names "isn't it obvious? You obviously have to survive in the wild until everyone but your group is gone" we stared at him "what are these colours for on our clothes?" Said a boy next to me a boy I think was named Newt "well the colours are the different groups for example all the greeens are the green team and the reds are the red team" he smiled then I got up the nerves to ask "what do you mean by gone?" I finally asked "Isn't that obvious too? By gone I mean Dead!" Everyone in the room gasped.
