Doing Your Homework (Dada Lesson 1)
Chapter 5
Okay, so this chapter might be slightly different because you are going to actual learn some spells, but overall it should have the same affect; helping you with your homework. In the introduction to lesson 1 you learned about grading, rules, what you are going to learn, and 2 new spells: lumos and nox.
-
Lesson:
Lets begin by explaining lumos and nox. It is simple, lumos is the spell for lighting your wand, and nox is the spell for putting out the light from your wand.
Also you might want to note that the light is just light not a flame.
Should be a yellow light, not enough charge it will be white and dim, and too much charge it will be red.
Lumos:
Say: loo-mos
Wand movement: Move your wand forward and then move it
up into a backwards loop
Nox:
Say: NOCKS
Wand movement: A flick of the wand or slight jab in any direction is all that is needed

The homework is an essay and a quiz. Starting with the quiz will be easy enough.
~
Quiz:
I can not view the quiz questions right now so if somebody could maybe send me the questions that would be great.
~
Essay:
Luckily I was able to view the essay prompt, which is:
Write an introduction. Tell me about yourself. What are your expectations for
this course? Is there anything you want to see for year one? What do you
already know about the subject? Why is Defense Against the Dark Arts important
to you? This should be at least 150 words. There will be no penalty for going
over the word limit.
So, important things to remember, no less than 150 words and remember this assignment is about you. What do you think about DADA? Why is it important to you? Those are some questions to think about during the assignment. I would include, maybe, some spells or creatures you want to learn about.
~
Sorry about the quiz, I will try to get the questions soon. The next chapter is on lesson 1 potions. I will try to get it done by tomorrow. If I don't that means I either have a lot of homework or I am working on my other books. Have any questions? owl me.
Also please if you can read Quidditch course it is an extra course you can do right here in the library. Sorry, to mention so much about it, I just really want people to read it!
