I was sitting at the dining table talking to Hermione when I saw the door open and saw all the first years coming to be sorted into their Hogwarts house, I saw my little sister Eliza, she was the first to be sorted and she was sorted into Ravenclaw, I was excited for her but I also felt sad for her, her first year with no friends or family. It reminded me of my first year, I was sad and lonely no friends, well I guess I had friends but I still was kind of sad for her.

"I'm gonna be right back." I said as I got up from the table

"where are you going?" asked Hermione 

"Just to the bathroom," I said hoping they wouldn't get suspicious.

As I got up I saw that Draco was looking at me, I looked at him with a smile on my face so he wouldn't be suspicious, I went to the door and walked around a little until I reached the Gryffindor door, I said the password and just sat there in the common room. Later that night when supper was done Hermione, Harry, and Ron came to the common room, "Why didn't you come back to dinner?" Ron asked

"I was a little full and I was tired so I just came here," I said staring at the fire

We just sat there talking till we were too tired and went to bed, but I didn't really get much sleep that night.

The next morning at breakfast we all met at the doorway and talked until we were told to go sit down and eat, it was pretty much like every other day until all the owls came to deliver the letters, I was one of the ones to get a letter, I never got letters, as I read the letter my eyes started to water, I had started crying "I have to go." I said with tears streaming down my face  as I ran off to the bathroom

Eliza came after me she knew what happened she knew how heartbreaking it was for me

"What's wrong Lily?" Hermione asked me

right then we heard knocks at the door "You okay in there?" it was Draco, Ron, and Harry

"It's my Grandma," I said with tears running down my face

"What about her?" Hermione asked

"Just leave me alone for once!" I said running off to the Gryffindor common room.

What was wrong with her grandma? was that the only thing bothering her? Why did she want to be alone? Why was she so mad? Find out in the next chapter
