We were boarding the Hogwarts Express when I saw the famous Harry Potter! "Hi!" I said

"Um hi." He said with a confused look on his face

"Your harry potter, right?" I said with a big smile

"Yeah" 

"May I sit with you?" I said hoping he would say yes.

"Uh... Sure" he said with a confused look on his face.

When I sat down I saw a little redhead, his name was Ron, he didn't like me at first but now he is one of my closest friends. When we got to Hogwarts we walked up a staircase and there we saw a tall elderly lady, her name was Professor McGonagall, she was very stern, "Welcome to Hogwarts."

"I will be back in a few minutes, then you will follow me into the dining hall."

As she left a little blonde boy went up a few steps and turned to Harry "So what they were saying on the train was true! Harry potter has come to Hogwarts!" (all the first years Start whispering in excitement)

"This is Crabbe and Goyle,"  "I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy," He says. Then Ron starts laughing "What? you think my name is funny, do you? Well, I don't need to ask your name, Red hair, hand me down robe, you're a Weasley!" he said with a smirk on his face "You'll soon find out some wizarding families are better than others, Potter. You don't want to go making the wrong sort of friends. I can help you there"

Draco then offers his hand to harry. "I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself." said harry glaring at Draco. Right then Professor McGonagall then came and got everyone to follow her to the sorting hat

I was standing beside a girl her name was Hermione Granger also a very close friend of mine.

We all got sorted and to no surprise, Crabbe, Goyle, and Draco all got sorted into Slytherin

Harry, Ron, Hermione, And I were sorted into Gryffindor

We all sat beside each other at the Gryffindor table, I was so excited to be there, and my father was right,

I had made friends and for a little while, I forgot about them.

"So what is your name?" Harry asked me

"Oh, it's Lily, Lily Warp."

"Nice to meet you, Lily."

Later that night in the Common Gryffindor room we all sat near the fireplace talking for hours and hours, but then at twelve, we went to bed. The next morning at breakfast Hermione and I had been talking about how excited but sad to leave our families but kind of excited to go to Hogwarts and how much we had studied, "So you two are muggle-born?" asked Ron "Yes." said Hermione.

Our first-class was very interesting and Hermione and I were answering Every question we could 

We took all the classes we could and at the end of the day we were all very tired but we stayed up as late as we could just to talk to each other. "So, what do you want to do?" Harry asked me,"

"Well, we could play chess," I said

"I'm not very good at chess." said harry

"Me neither," I said as I started to giggle

"What's so funny?" he said with a smile on his face.

"Nothing," I said now laughing so hard I could barely breathe then Harry started to laugh, we laughed for a while, and then we went to bed. 

The first month went by so fast. I made three really close friends but soon I would make a Slytherin friend that none of my friends liked
