In the Heights Movie Review (Entertainment)

Chapter 3

Recently, I went to see In the Heights I wanted to review it because I know it is new and I wanted people to know what I thought of it.

Summary: In Washington Heights, N.Y., the scent of warm coffee hangs in the air just outside of the 181st St. subway stop, where a kaleidoscope of dreams rallies a vibrant and tight-knit community. At the intersection of it all is a likable and magnetic bodega owner who hopes, imagines and sings about a better life.

3.5/5

I gave this movie a 3.5/5 because there wasn’t much of a plot line but I enjoyed the music thoroughly. The soundtrack was very good and fun to dance to. I saw it with my friends and we were all dancing in the back row!

Like I said, the plot line was kind of non-existent. There was some story, but not much. However, I enjoyed the characters and the character lines were quite funny.

The costumes were bright and colourful! The dancing was really good as well.

Overall, I think this movie is enjoyable, fun and worth watching!

Thanks for reading!
