If you want to have a Harry Potter movie marathon, here are some tips to make it awesome.

1. Ask people to come wearing their robes or at least a Harry Potter t-shirt. Also invite them to bring their wands (you'll need them for Dumbledore's funeral)

2. Provide Harry Potter themed snacks and if needed meals.

3. Make sure to dim the lights. If you have electric candles, turn those on too.

4. Decorate your watching space with some Harry Potter decor. Just a little, though!

5. Decide if you also want to watch the Fantastic Beasts movies. If you do, then you also have to decide which order to view them in.

6. To round out the evening, watch the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry trailer.

7. Keep the remote close at hand in case you need to skip snogging parts and to turn up or lower the volume at scary and epic parts.

Some things to do while you watch:

-Clap appropriately when Dumbledore announces the House points and cup in Sorcerer's Stone

-Make sure to raise your wands when the characters do for Dumbledore's funeral in Half-Blood Prince

-Pick a Triwizard champion to root for and call out cheers and encouragement when they go on in Goblet of Fire

-Waltz or dance crazily during the Yule Ball in Goblet of Fire

-When characters on-screen clap, do so in real life

-If you want to, you could also watch deleted scenes after each movie

-Turn down the thermostat in Prisoner of Azkaban a few minutes before dementors appear on screen; you can also provide chocolate

-Print Harry Potter movie-watching bingo to play while you watch

Well, that's it! Have a great time watching!
