The Magic Wands "Harry Potter"

Do not want to go into the merits of the undeniable talent and intelligence of author JK Rowling, creator of the "Harry Potter" series, but something you can not argue is their great historical, philosophical and theological knowledge. Surely the writer's studies led him to create a series where no mere blunders, not even when it comes in a fanciful story.

I am not a fanatic fan of the series but devoted, as others of my age, good hours to the pages of "Harry Potter", anxiously awaiting the next book when finished reading one.

Years later, in my study of sacred trees and Celtic culture, could identify how much of Rowling's talent was beyond my assumptions subsequently Analyzing magic wands (Wands) used in the plot, their owners, these features and their roles in history I realized that each one of them, at least the main characters, are directly tied to trees and woods used by the ancient peoples of Europe and according to the legends that revolve around them.

I began to associate the relationship of magic wands used by the characters in the story of "Harry Potter" after reviewing the "Elder Wand" also known as "the wand wands." Such a wand, which has two different connotations in English ("elder" is "old man" but also means "elder") plays a key role in the story.

There, in one of the later books, the tale of "Beadle the Bard", where it is cited as elder wand "the wand wands" that which takes one of three brothers to death when used improperly. Such wand ends up in the hands of Albus Dumbledore (the elder) and by the same wand "Lord Voldemort" is dead.

The Elderberry, as already mentioned in a previous post, has always been related to witches, besides being a tree linked to death and also used to ward off evil.Sabugueiros were planted in front of homes to rid the house of evil spirits and protect cemeteries for the dead.
