Golems In General
Chapter 2
Almost all golems are composed of a shell: an inanimate motile object, some magical sensors put throughout the shell, however many needed for the job, a core, and finally, a telepathic link to it's master. With all of these parts, one can create a functional golem. Each part can be specialized to whatever it's task will be, its attributes are affected by the differences in its parts.
The core of a golem must have a semi-pure substance at the very least to function properly. The core is used to store a copy of it's masters magical power. At best, a crystal would greatly reflect power, thus making it smarter, stronger, and more knowledgeable of it's current state. A shard of glass would suffice, but would not create the best of golems. In order to prepare a substance to mimic a piece of your magic, you must inscribe onto the object the words " Mimos Dominum Effingo " Once the input of a magic source, this substance shall gain an artificial conscience that only knows to mimic that action. The purer the substance, the more clearly it will translate the action, and it can contain many more actions.
