Puppeteer

There is a puppeteer with many puppets in a show.

One he uses daily, there’s also the one he rarely shows, one
is worn with strings fraying away.

One ends up happy, then crying the next day.

Two dressed in green, and one in yellow,

He needs more puppets for his show,

He takes a fair plain one and dresses it in gold,

It would have been a sight to behold,

If there weren’t so many holes.
