Chapter 9
Dear Diary, (Is that what you write? This is my first time having a diary)
Date: Two weeks after I came here.
Today Thunder introduced Texy and me to his new friends Cinnamon and Cumin. They were really nice, but Cinnamon is a little crazy, and it’s surprising that she can see through the puffy feathers on her face. Texy seemed guilty when talking to Cinnamon. No idea what that was about. It’s been getting steadily warmer lately and most of the last of the snow has melted. Oh! And I laid my first egg yesterday! It was weird. I don’t really like the nesting boxes, however. They're too dirty! So today I laid my egg somewhere else. I’d tell you, but Texy might read this and I don’t want her to know. Anyways, that’s all that really happened today! I’ll write more tomorrow!
