Luna’s POV

The next morning when Luna dreamily drifted out of her bed the first thing she thought of was Harry. As she rubbed her eyes, she wondered if he would confide in her again. Luna liked talking to Harry and she liked that he would talk to her. She often thought about the DA meetings and in a way, she missed them. Once she was dressed, she went down to the Great Hall for breakfast.

Harry’s POV

As Harry got dressed, he wondered what to do In Hogsmead today. Ron and Hermione decided to stay at school so Hermione could help Ron with his Defence Against The Dark Arts essay Snape set them. Harry had already done his and wanted to get off the grounds. Maybe I could see if Ginny wanted to come? But she’d probably be with Dean. Harry frowned. I guess I could ask Luna; after all, I do like talking to her. Harry made his way down to the Great Hall with Ron for breakfast, meeting Hermione in the common room first. When he got there, his eyes scanned the Ravenclaw table for her straggly, dirty blonde hair. His eyes found her at once “Be right back!” he called to Ron and Hermione who were bickering too loudly to notice him. As he made his way over to her he got an array of looks from various Ravenclaws and a particularly filthy look from one of Cho’s gang of giggling girls. She didn’t notice him at first, he tapped her on the shoulder and she jumped her large silver grey eyes met his and she grinned. “Hello Harry!” he couldn’t help but grin back “Morning Luna, are you going into Hogsmead today? Ron and Hermione are staying at school so I was wondering if you wanted to come with me?” Luna’s smile widened, “Sure! I wanted to get some new quills today anyway, meet outside school after breakfast?”  “Great, okay” he smiled and strolled back to the Gryffindor table.

"What was that about?" Ron asked when Harry returned. "I'm going to Hogsmead with Luna since yous two are staying here" Hermione looked mildly surprised but a small smile appeared on her lips. She suddenly glanced at Ginny "Really?" she said "I thought you might go with Ginny, you know since her and Dean have been fighting again" Harry's head snapped up, his stomach did a summersault "oh really I didn't know" he said hardly able to contain the obvious joy in his voice "what about?" he attempted to seem mildly curious, Hermione just raised her eyebrow at him. "I'm not sure really" she said "I think Ginny just thinks Dean is too overbearing" Ron looked up, "sheb dobsent neeb a boefreib, supib Deab!" he grumbled, his mouth overflowing with bacon. "Oh Ronald you really are disgusting!" Hermione exclaimed.

Harry got up to meet Luna, he glanced over at Ginny who was sitting with a girl from the year below he didn't know. Then he looked over at the Ravenclaw house table and he could see no sign of Luna. She must be already waiting, he thought.
