Potions Information
I haven't found a lot of information, but I will try to write this as well as I can. Information I've collected about ingredients, instructions, and possibilities on potions.

To start with, let's define Potions. Potions are a magical mixture or compound often combining both magical or mundane ingredients. It is only safe for a Witch or Wizard to use. Potions may vary in phase transitions, which just means it can be a solid, liquid or a gaseous vapor. As of this time I am unsure whether they can become a plasma substance. The only information I have on what happens to a transitioned potion is that a vapor will be less potent that a usual liquid potion. Your basic materials to brew a potion are as follows; cauldron (can be silver, pewter, copper, brass, or fire-crab shell) mortar and pestle (unsure if special material would be needed for this tool), wooden spoon (again unsure if different types of wood would affect the potion), dragon-hide gloves (unsure whether different hides would have any affect), goggles, and an apron. A knife or sliver dagger may also need to be used, with caution. As a wizard, you should always have your wand on hand, so no need to be reminded. Phials used for storing may be made of crystal or glass (trying to research more on this, as unsure if metals may be used for storing, or what types of crystal, etc.but some will need to be tinted for certain potions)
Mixture-When one substance or ingredient is distributed through another without any reaction taking place. No rearrangement of chemical bonds. No "reaction".
Compound-occurs when there is a reaction that causes the two or more ingredients that are combined to undergo a chemical reaction and change the shape and form of their chemical bonds.
Phase Transition- Solids, liquids, and gases are composed of particles know as atoms and molecules, which are groupings of two or more atoms.
Author's Note: I realize this is pretty basic. This is mostly composed of lessons one and two of Potions year one.Any criticisms or information would be most appreciated. Thank you.
